LL Cool J Retires, Unretires, On Twitter
By Hayden Wright
On Monday, LL Cool J disappointed ladies who love Cool James around the world when he announced his retirement from the rap game. "Today I officially retired from music," he wrote. "Thank you for the love." Very soon after, the rap pioneer deleted those tweets, reversed course, deleted that tweet, and announced that he was actually working on a new album. How quickly sands shift on social media!

Whatever LL has up his sleeve, we're here for it. Though he's spent more than a decade padding his resume with other entertainment credits like actor, GRAMMY host, Lip Sync Battle chairman and more, a back-to-basics album will remind us where the multihyphenate started.
