Livermore Shooting Leaves 25-Year-Old Man In Critical Condition

LIVERMORE (CBS SF) -- A 25-year-old man was shot in Livermore Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of the Arroyo Bike Trail west of Holmes Street at about 1:15 p.m. They found the victim suffering a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

Two men in their 20s had confronted the victim there and then shot him, police said. The suspects then fled south across the Arroyo Creek.

The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The suspects remain at large.
