Leaked Celebrity Nude Photos To Be Featured At Florida Art Exhibit
ST. PETERSBURG, FL (CBS SF) – Those interested in viewing the hacked nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton or Scarlett Johansson will soon be able to see them without surfing the back alleys of the Internet.
As part of its "Fear Google" campaign, Cory Allen Contemporary Art in St. Petersburg, Florida has plans to incorporate Los Angeles-based artist XLAVA's art piece that showcases the leaked nude photos. XLAVA calls his show "No Delete" that displays seven years of compromised and unauthorized photos of celebrities such as Britney Spears and Scarlett Johansson.
"We share our secrets with technology," XVALA said in a press release. "And when we do, our privacy becomes accessible to others."
Publicist Cory Allen added: "XVALA appropriating celebrity compromised images and the overall 'Fear Google' campaign has helped strengthen the ongoing debate over privacy in the digital era." Allen also said "The commentary behind this show is a reflection of who we are today. We all become 'users,' and in the end, we become 'used'."
XLAVA's "No Delete" show is scheduled to begin October 30th.
