Lanes Reopen On Hwy 87 In San Jose Following Brush Fire

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A roadside fire temporarily closed a northbound lane on state Highway 87 in San Jose Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The brush fire was called in at 4:46 a.m. in between Alma Avenue and Almaden Expressway and was contained at 6:17 a.m., according to the CHP. All lanes reopened shortly after.

Latest Traffic Conditions

Motorists are advised to expect residual delays. No information as to how the fire began was available.
