KPIX at 70: Kate Kelly Looks At Bridge Toll Takers' Strange Days

In 1985, anchor/reporter Kate Kelly looked what it's like to be a toll taker on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge.

Despite the advances in technology, toll takers are still putting in the work today.

Back in those days, the toll to cross the Bay Bridge was 75 cents, compared with $6 today during peak commute times.
