SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)— Is the U.S. Supreme Court done unleashing money in politics, or do you think there's more deregulation in this area to come?

That was our question for Daniel Newman, co-founder and president of Maplight.org, a non-partisan research organization that resources and compiles information about the sources of campaign contributions, federal, state and local politicians, ballot measures and legislative votes. The organization then reveals that information to show patterns of influence.

In his opinion, Newman with the fresh case of McCutcheon vs. the Federal Election Commission (FEC) that strikes down overall limits on campaign contributions said there is more deregulation in this area to come. He explains his answer in this week's In Depth.
