Sean Lennon's Van Burglarized In San Francisco's Hayes Valley Neighborhood

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- John Lennon's son was in San Francisco this week when his band's van was burglarized in the city's Hayes Valley neighborhood, according to an online post by the late Beatles star's son.

Sean Ono Lennon, a member of the Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger, posted on his Instagram and other social media pages Wednesday afternoon a photo of the smashed window on the van.

He said that the group's percussionist Connor Grant's laptop was stolen earlier that day when he was getting coffee near Franklin and Hayes streets.

He said there is a "BIG REWARD" if the computer is returned unharmed.

Anyone with information is asked to email the band at mutethehead@gmail.com, no questions asked.

The band, which includes Ono Lennon's girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl, performed at the Great American Musical Hall in the Tenderloin Tuesday night and has a show at The Crocodile in Seattle today before heading to Vancouver, according to their website.

Sean Ono Lennon is the only child of Lennon and his widow Yoko Ono.
