Jet Skier Missing On Napa River

NAPA (CBS/AP) -- Authorities are searching for a missing woman on a jet ski in the Napa River.

The woman, in her 50s, went out on the watercraft Wednesday and never returned.

U.S. Coast Guard spokesman Barry Bena says she was reported missing about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

It was not immediately clear how long she had been out on the water. Her name was not released.

The Coast Guard will resume searching for her at sunrise Thursday. Search crews were mobilizing near Cutters Wharf boat launching facility. Crews from the Napa County Sheriff's office were assisting in the search, the station reported.
