Japanese Athlete That Runs On All Fours Visits Bay Area Schools Studying His Speed

HAYWARD (CBS SF) -- A Japanese athlete who runs faster on all fours than most people can sprint upright was analyzed by two East Bay colleges during a visit to the Bay Area.

Kenichi Ito took part in a study at the Motion Analysis Research center at Oakland's Samuel Merritt University, the Chronicle reported.

Ito holds a record for the best time running 100-meters in just 16/87 seconds on all four limbs.

The trip was part of a British documentary.
