Hunter Pence Returning To Giants Lineup After Forearm Injury

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Two months after his forearm was injured during spring training, San Francisco Giants right fielder Hunter Pence is reportedly returning to the team's lineup this weekend.

The San Jose Mercury News reported Pence is flying to Cincinnati on Friday, where the Giants are playing a series against the Reds. He is expected to be available starting on Saturday. Pence was rehabbing with the Triple-A Sacramento Rivercats for the past week.

Pence fractured his left forearm when he was hit by a pitch during a Cactus League matchup against the Chicago Cubs on March 5th.

The Giants have a 17-18 record entering Friday's game against the Reds.
