Huge #Pride Party On #BART, #SFFerry, #Caltrain Just Getting To #SFPride Parade
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF)- It was a party getting into San Francisco for Sunday's Gay Pride Parade. Crowds of paradegoers were in a raucous, good mood as they piled onto BART trains, ferries, and Caltrains heading to The City.
"It's hotter than Satan's *#!$," yelled one rider on a packed BART train pulling out of the Rockridge station, drawing raucous laughter.
"We're riding the Party BART," yelled another taking a swig from a gallon jug of something bright blue and probably spiked.
No one seemed to mind the lines, the wait, or sharing the air with so many others.
One woman remarked, "This Pride Parade will be one for the history books."

Happily, the long lines for tickets at the BART Rockridge station moved pretty fast.
Across the bay one Tweeter said it took "One hour in line to get on the ferry from Marin to #SFPride from Marin."
