Homeless Man's Body Found Offshore Near Popular Sausalito Park

SAUSALITO (CBS SF) -- Sausalito police have closed Dunphy Park after the body of a homeless man was discovered offshore around 9 a.m. Monday.

Police announced the closure around 12:30 p.m. Police said they are treating the death of the 66-year-old man as suspicious.

The waterfront park at Bridgeway and Napa Street will be closed until police complete a search for evidence or clues that may determine the nature of the death, police said.
