Hillsborough Police Ask For Help After Home Robbed

HILLSBOROUGH (CBS SF) -- Police are asking Hillsborough residents to help solve a home burglary that happened Friday.

The burglary occurred in the 2100 block of Forest View Avenue sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 2:55 p.m., police said.

After conducting an investigation, officers determined the suspects entered the home through an unlocked side garage door. Once inside the garage, the suspects were able to force open a door to the house, according to police.

Police are asking residents who live nearby and may have witnesses to suspicious individuals or vehicle in the area during the time frame to contact police at (650) 375-7470.

Additionally, residents who have a video surveillance system are being asked to come forward with any footage that may help with the investigation.
