High-Wind Advisories Issued For Bay, San Mateo Bridges By CHP

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- High wind advisories remain in effect Thursday for the Bay Bridge and the San Mateo Bridge, according to California Highway Patrol officials.

Advisories were also issued earlier Thursday morning for the Golden Gate and Richmond-San Rafael bridges, but those have since been cancelled, the CHP reports.

The highway patrol issues wind advisories when patrol officers report winds are causing their vehicles to shift.
