High Wind Advisories In Effect For Bay Area Bridges

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- High wind advisories were in effect Monday morning for the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge, Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, Dumbarton Bridge and Bay Bridge, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials issued the advisories overnight, with the most recent being issued shortly before 1:30 a.m.

The advisory was still in effect as of 5 a.m.

The National Weather Service forecasted that winds could reach up to 30 miles per hour in the San Francisco area on Sunday night.
