Hazardous Weather Outlook Issued For Bay Area With Heavy Rain In Forecast

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for the San Francisco Bay Area Sunday morning.

Officials said inclement weather could last through the early part of the week ahead.

Officials said travelers should use caution due to moderate to heavy rain in some areas.

Motorists were advised to slow down and use caution while on wet roadways.

Officials said minor urban flooding was possible in some areas, especially Monday through Tuesday.

Strong winds reaching 50 mph were forecast to hit coastal areas during the next few days.
