2 Suspects Rob Jewelry Store In Half Moon Bay

HALF MOON BAY (CBS SF) – Two suspects robbed a jewelry stored at gunpoint Monday morning in Half Moon Bay, according to the sheriff's office.

Around 10:30 a.m. the first suspect entered Goldworks, located at 542 Main St., and brandished a gun before walking behind the counter and placing jewelry into a black bag, according to the sheriff's office.

The sheriff's office said the second suspect entered the store as the first suspect was stealing the jewelry and noticed an employee had pressed the "panic alarm."

The sheriff's office said the suspects immediately fled on foot, heading south on Main Street.

Sheriff's deputies conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the suspects.

The first suspect is described as a white man between the ages of 25 and 35, five feet seven inches, 150 pounds and was last seen wearing dark framed glasses, a baseball cap, blue shirt, blue jeans, dark shoes and holding a black shopping bag.

The second suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man between the ages of 25 and 35, five feet five inches, 140 pounds, with a dark goatee, and was last seen wearing dark framed glasses, a knitted cap with bill, a dark button down shirt and blue jeans.

The suspects were able to steal an unknown amount of jewelry and the store employees were not injured during the incident, according to the sheriff's office.
