Gun Found During Suspects' Arrest In Therapist's Death
SAN RAFAEL (CBS/AP) — Authorities say they recovered a gun thought to be used to kill a popular tantra yoga teacher.
Marin County Sheriff's Lt. Doug Pittman said Thursday that the handgun was recovered during the arrest of three drifters in Portland, Oregon.
The trio was arrested Wednesday after investigators tracked the victim's stolen car using GPS technology.
Pittman declined to discuss any further details, citing the ongoing investigation into the shooting death of 67-year-old Steve Carter.
Pittman says California investigators are interviewing the suspects being held in a Portland jail. No charges have been filed.
