2-Alarm Grass Fire Burns 1 Acre In Suisun City

SUISUN CITY (CBS SF) -- Fire crews got control of a two-alarm fire that burned about an acre of grass in Suisun City Sunday afternoon, a fire dispatcher said.

The fire was reported around 1:20 p.m. in the area of Westwind Way and Emperor Drive, according to the Suisun City Fire Department dispatcher.

Crews were able to get the blaze under control in about 30 minutes and remained on the scene looking for hot spots just before 2 p.m., he said.

No injuries were reported.
