Tickets For Warriors 2nd Straight NBA Finals To Go On Sale

OAKLAND (CBS SF) – After advancing to the NBA Finals for the second straight year, the Golden State Warriors announced tickets for the series will go on sale Tuesday morning.

The Warriors advanced after winning Game 7 Monday night over the Oklahoma City Thunder, completing a comeback after trailing the Western Conference Finals 3-1.

Tickets for games 1, 2 and 5 for the Finals will go on sale Tuesday starting at 10 a.m. with several exclusive presale events, before opening up to the general public at 5 p.m., according to Warriors officials.

Fans will be able to purchase single-game tickets for the team's first three home games of the Finals exclusively online at warriors.com.

Golden State guard Stephan Curry, who earlier this month was named the first unanimous MVP in NBA history following a season in which Golden State had a league-record 73 wins, and team will seek to defend the Warriors' 2014-15 championship in a rematch with the Cavaliers.

Game 1 of the NBA Finals is scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday at Oracle Arena.
