Go-Kart Caught On Camera Racing Down Oakland Freeway

OAKLAND (KPIX 5) -- A go-kart was caught on camera racing down an Oakland freeway as a black SUV with police-like lights chased it Sunday.

Witnesses cheered as the go-kart raced down I-880.

The California Highway Patrol said they had nothing to do with the chase, and it's still unclear who was chasing the go-kart, and why.

Go-karts are illegal on all interstate freeways.
