Gilroy Man Arrested After Allegedly Molesting Girl In Morgan Hill Hotel
MORGAN HILL (CBS SF) -- A 23-year-old man who allegedly molested a girl at a Morgan Hill hotel was arrested over the weekend, police said Monday.
Fortino Ayala, a Gilroy resident, was arrested on suspicion of committing lewd and lascivious acts with a juvenile, police said.
On Saturday, a woman and her niece went to police headquarters, where they reported the child was molested at a hotel in the 16000 block of Monterey Road, according to police.
Investigators worked with the victim, who named the suspect as Ayala, police said.
The 23-year-old man was arrested and booked into Santa Clara County Jail, according to police.
