Giants Manager Bruce Bochy Hospitalized

MIAMI (CBS SF) -- San Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy was admitted to the hospital Monday after feeling ill during the team's trip to Miami to play the Marlins.

The Giants said Bochy was admitted to the University of Miami hospital and will be monitored overnight.

It was not known what Bochy's condition was, team said he was resting comfortably and was expected to return with the team on Tuesday.

The Giants are scheduled to play a three-game series against the Marlins beginning Monday evening. Bench coach Ron Wotus was to serve as manager in Bochy's place Monday.
