Buster Posey Wins #FaceOfMLB Award On Twitter

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The San Francisco Giants' Buster Posey was voted as Major League Baseball's most recognizable player Thursday in the #FaceOfMLB contest.

The second annual award is a MLB bracket-style competition where fans vote on Twitter. The Mets' David Wright claimed the title last year.

With three World Series titles, a rookie of the year and an MVP in his short career, many have suggested it is time for Posey to take over for now-retired Yankees captain Derek Jeter as the most recognizable player in the game.
