But Graham and Bledel aren't the only ones on hand. Audiences will also see series stars Kelly Bishop, Melissa McCarthy, Sean Gunn and Scott Patterson, among others. Rory's ex-boyfriends Dean Forester, played by Jared Padalecki, Jess Mariano, played by Milo Ventimiglia and Logan Huntzberger, played by Matt Czuchry also make cameos.

A central character of the series is obviously missing from the group. Edward Hermann who passed away in 2014, played Gilmore family patriarch, Richard Gilmore. In his honor, a massive portrait of his character became part of an episode, as a touching tribute.
