All Lanes Reopened After Fuel Spill On Highway 80 Ramp In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- All lanes have reopened after a fuel spill closed an on ramp on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 in San Francisco Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The big-rig accident was first reported at 3:54 a.m. at 1st and Essex streets, CHP officials said.

A sig-alert was issued at 4:27 a.m., with an update at 4:43 a.m. saying the ramp would remain closed as crews clean up the spill.

The roadway was cleared by 6:50 a.m.
