Four Minor Earthquakes Recorded In San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- There were at least four mild earthquakes in about an hour Tuesday night in San Jose, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquakes were located along the Calaveras Fault, just east of Alum Rock Park, in San Jose

A 2.7 magnitude earthquake was recorded at 8:23 p.m., as was a 2.6 quake in the same minute. At 8:24 p.m. a 2.5 quake was reported and at 8:51 p.m. a 3.2 quake was reported.

Alum Rock is a census-designated place in Santa Clara County and a community of San Jose.
