LAS VEGAS (CBS SF) -- Former A's slugger Jose Canseco was hurt in an accidental shooting in Las Vegas Tuesday afternoon.

Canseco reportedly accidentally shot himself in the hand while cleaning his gun, according to police.

The accident occurred in his Las Vegas home.
