Fly Over San Francisco With A Muni Time-Lapse Map

It's easy to get frustrated by Muni delays, but a time-lapse map of buses might remind riders that the San Francisco's transit system never sleeps, and it covers a lot of ground.

The map was created by Danny Whalen, co-founder of Remix, a pro-transit organization.

"It's a massive orchestration of a lot of different people and assets, and I think people lose sight of that," Whalen told SFist.

Whalen's company creates software that helps cities map their transit systems. He used data from Muni to create the time-lapse map.
