First Photos Surface On Instagram of Rihanna As 'Bates Motel's' Marion Crane

(RADIO.COM) – Rihanna will play Marion Crane in the forthcoming season of A&E's Bates Motel and today the first photos from set have made their way onto the internet.

In Alfred Hitchcock's 1960 film Psycho (which Bates Motel is based on) Crane, played by Janet Leigh meets her demise in a shower scene that is arguably one of the most iconic in horror history. Marion Crane was also portrayed by Anne Heche in the 1998 remake co-starring Vince Vaughn and Julianne Moore.

Nothing quite so dramatic is revealed in Wednesday's photos, but we do get a look RiRi on set.
