Fire In San Jose Home's Garage Injures 1 Person

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A fire at a detached garage behind a home in San Jose has been extinguished Thursday morning after sending one person to a hospital, fire officials said.

The blaze was reported at 7:59 a.m. at 216 S. 20th St. and was extinguished 45 minutes later, a fire dispatcher said.

One person was taken to the hospital in connection with the fire but is expected to survive, fire Capt. Cleo Doss said.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, Doss said.
