Firefighters Contain Early Morning Brush Fire In South San Jose

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- Firefighters have contained a vegetation fire Monday morning in South San Jose.

At 3:25 a.m., firefighters arrived on scene near Bailey Avenue and Santa Teresa Boulevard, according to Fire Capt. Tre Thierry.

No structures were threatened. The blaze burned at least four acres, Thierry said.

At about 4:45 a.m., Thierry said the fire was close to being extinguished.

The cause for the fire remains under investigation.
