Fire in Vallejo damages former Grant School building
A fire broke out Saturday at a former Vallejo school, the fire department said.
Vallejo Fire crews responded just before 1:30 a.m. to a two-alarm structure fire at the former Grant School.

It was upgraded to a three-alarm fire around 7:30 a.m., and the city's Public Works department had to take heavy equipment to the scene to help overhaul and mitigate areas with structural instability.
