Streets Reopen in Santa Clara Following Hours-Long Structure Fire

SANTA CLARA (CBS SF) -- Several streets in Santa Clara that were temporarily shut down late Friday afternoon due to a structure fire have since reopened.

As of 10:30 p.m., Martin Avenue, between Lafayette Street and Scott Boulevard, has reopened to traffic. Also, Richard Avenue, between Memorex Drive and Martin Avenue, has reopened as well.

The streets were closed for several hours as Santa Clara firefighters battled the fire.
