PLEASANTON (CBS SF) -- The California Highway Patrol has reopened a highway connector in Pleasanton after a fatal crash Saturday morning.

The southbound Interstate 680 connector to eastbound Interstate 580 reopened. However, the Hopyard Road off-ramp remained closed as of 11 a.m., CHP officials said.

The crash was first reported on the highway connector around 7:30 a.m., according to CHP officials.

One person died after a truck reportedly crashed into a center divider on the connector.

The CHP did not provide an estimated time for when the Hopyard off-ramp would reopen.
