Faithful For Life: Vallejo Tattoo Shop Offers $49 Skin Art For 49ers Fans

VALLEJO (KCBS) — As excitement grows across the Bay Area ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship game, a Vallejo tattoo shop is launching a special promotion for die-hard fans of the San Francisco 49ers.

At Allied Ink, 49er-themed designs have been discounted to $49 for a limited time. Shop manager and life-long manager Andrew Moskito said they did a similar promotion for two days last year after San Francisco won the NFC championship.

"It was crazy. It was nuts; as soon as we made a Facebook post about it we had people coming from all over the Bay Area," he told KCBS.

Tattoo artist Zachary Lopez said he inked about 30 various red and gold designs in two back-to-back 14-hour shifts.

"We even had a 93-year-old lady come get the 49er tattoo; that's how excited everyone was about it," Lopez said.

Moskito said expects it to be even busier this year because they offer the deal to anyone who sets up an appointment between now and Feb. 1.

The tattoos would normally range in price from $150 to about $225.

"A lot of people want to get a tattoo it's memorabilia that stays with you for life," Moskito said.
