Fairfield Police Investigating Early Morning Fatal Shooting

FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) - One person was shot and killed in Fairfield early Saturday morning, police said.

The shooting happened around 4:15 a.m. in the 1400 block of Phoenix Drive, according to police.

Officers arrived on the scene to find a victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

No suspect information was available, and an investigation into the homicide is ongoing.
