SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The social media network Facebook temporarily went down Friday afternoon.

As of 4:08 p.m., Facebook was not accessible to those in San Francisco. The outage lasted around 20 minutes.

Many people took to Twitter to document, and joke about, the outage.
