Elderly Woman In San Francisco Goes Missing After Taking Walk

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) -- Police in San Francisco are looking for an elderly woman who has been missing since Monday.

Eighty-seven-year-old Mai Tran was last seen Monday when she left her home to take a walk and did not return.

Police say Tran is known to visit the Pacific Supermarket Alemany Blvd. as well as to collect recyclables at the 7-Eleven store at 3080 San Jose Ave.

She suffers from short-term memory loss, has high blood pressure and only speaks Cantonese.

Tran is described as an Asian woman who is about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs about 100 pounds and has black and gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants, a black jacket, a black beanie and sandals and may be carrying a small black purse.
