1 Dead, 1 Wounded In Early-Morning Shooting Outside SF Bar

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police are investigating a shooting that killed on man and sent another to a hospital early Sunday morning in downtown San Francisco.

Around 2 a.m., officers responded to a bar in the 900 block of Geary Boulevard, according to police.

Officers learned patrons leaving a bar had become involved in a physical fight. The dispute had subsided when a car allegedly pulled up to the area, police said.

A suspect then got out of the car and fired several shots, according to police.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

Information about the suspect or the suspect vehicle was not immediately available.
