Early morning shooting in East San Jose leaves 1 dead
An early morning shooting in San Jose left one person dead on Tuesday, San Jose Police said.
Just before 4 a.m., officers went to the 90 block of Sunset Court after it was reported someone had been shot.
Police said the victim was shot at least once, and he was taken to the hospital.
He later died from his injuries, police said.
According to police, the shooter left the scene before police arrived.
Investigators do not yet know the motive or what led up to the shooting, police said.
