Fleitcha Johnson and Myisha Johnson, 36, were arrested on suspicion of possession of burglary tools, mail theft, felony vandalism and on outstanding warrants, police said.

Officers responded at 1:21 a.m. Tuesday to a report of a suspicious person at the Murphy Ranch apartments at 310 East Dunne Ave.

The apartment manager told a police dispatcher she could see two women prying the mailboxes open next to the office, and that the women were stealing mail.

Responding officers arrived and located one of the suspects standing next to the mailboxes. Officers eventually located the second suspect hiding behind a bush, police said.

Police said all of the stolen mail was returned.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police Cpl. Scott Purvis at (669) 253-4912. Those who wish to remain anonymous may call Silicon Valley Crime Stoppers at (408) 947-7867.
