Drought So Bad This California Kid Has Never Seen Rain

DANA POINT (CBS SF) -- Should you touch it? Eat it? Run from it? The drought is so bad in California that some young children have never seen rain.

When 22-month-old Grayson of Dana Point saw rain for the first time this week, he had no idea what it was.

He was so fascinated by the idea of water falling from the sky, he couldn't resist opening his mouth to taste a few raindrops.

His dad said this week's rain was Grayson's first experience ever in a real downpour.

From the looks of the smile on Grayson's face, he found the rain delightful.
