LIVERMORE (CBS SF) -- A driver who was killed in a two-car crash on Interstate Highway 580 in eastern Alameda County on Friday evening has been identified as a 35-year-old South San Francisco woman, an Alameda County coroner's deputy said Sunday.

Jennifer Rivera-Odum perished in the collision reported around 6:50 p.m. Friday on eastbound Highway 580 west of Interstate Highway 205 between Livermore and Tracy, according to the coroner's deputy and the California Highway Patrol.

The crash sent Rivera-Odum's car into a ditch off of the roadway.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The collision left the roadway partially blocked for several hours on Friday night, according to the CHP.
