Driver Crashes Into Philz Coffee Shop In San Francisco's Mission Bay Neighborhood

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A driver crashed into a Philz Coffee shop in San Francisco's Mission Bay on Saturday night, according to police.

A report of a car into a building came in at 9:10 p.m. in the 200 block of Berry Street near Fourth Street, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said.

The driver complained of pain, but was not seriously injured, Esparza said.

There were no arrests in the incident, he said.

The coffee shop, located at 201 Berry St., was closed Sunday after the crash because of damage to a window and glass wall, an assistant manager said.

She said the cafe reopened Monday, but the area where the glass shattered is boarded off. She said she didn't know when repairs would be finished.
