Downtown San Jose Fire Displaces 3 From Home Overnight

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) - Three people were displaced in a one-alarm house fire in San Jose Wednesday morning, a fire dispatcher said.

The fire was reported at 2:37 a.m. at a home in the 500 block of North Eighth Street, near the downtown area, the dispatcher said.

The blaze was called under control at 3:42 a.m., she said.

No injuries were reported, however the American Red Cross was helping the three residents find temporary housing, she said.
