Downed Tree Leaves Hundreds Without Power In Mill Valley

MILL VALLEY (CBS SF) – A downed tree is blocking a road in Mill Valley and has caused a power outage leaving 210 residences without power Tuesday morning.

At 5:23 a.m., police responded to a report of downed tree and downed power lines near the intersection of Buena Vista and Carmelita avenues, according to a police dispatcher.

The downed tree fell on a vehicle, however no injuries have been reported, the dispatcher said.

The downed power lines are causing power outages for residents in the immediate area, according to the Pacific Gas and Electric website.

The outage was first reported at 5:19 a.m., the website states.
