Dodgers, 4 Other Teams Already Viewed As Better Bets Than Giants To Win 2015 World Series

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - Some are calling the San Francisco Giants a dynasty, others are saying they've been lucky to pull off three World Series victories in five seasons. Either way, bookies don't see the success continuing next year.

Less than 48 hours after they hoisted the championship trophy, the Giants have fallen to the sixth best team in baseball, according to oddsmakers at MyTopSportsbooks.com.

The Los Angeles Dodgers at 7/1 are the odds on favorites to win it all next year. The Washington Nationals, Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals, Los Angeles Angels are all safer bets to win it all next year than the boys in Orange & Black. The Giants are a 18/1 shot to win it all, just a shade worse than they were this year before the playoff Wild Card game.

The Royals at 20/1, Orioles at 22/1 and A's at 22/1 are also in the top 10.

What will really be interesting is to check the lines next offseason, to see if bookies now buy in to the every-other-year Giants formula.
