Disneyland Introduces Demand-Based Ticket Pricing
LOS ANGELES (CBS SF) -- The price to enter the 'happiest place on earth' is going to change and become a bit complicated.
Right now, Disneyland single-day tickets cost $99, but starting Sunday the theme park is introducing demand-based ticket prices.
Tickets at Disneyland in Anaheim will be offered at 3 different rates -- value, regular and peak days.
Peak days will cost $119, and include most of December, Spring Break, and weekends in July.
Regular tickets will cost $105. That price will be good most weekends and almost every week during the summer.
Value days are Mondays through Thursdays during the school year. The price of those tickets will drop to $95.
At Disney World in Florida the pricing will be more complicated and vary from park to park. The price of tickets will range from $105 for value periods, $110 for regular periods and $124 for peak.
