Teen Hospitalized During Dipsea Race Out Of Hospital

STINSON BEACH (CBS SF) – A 16-year-old girl who was taken by a California Highway Patrol helicopter to a hospital during the 7.4-mile Dipsea race in Marin County on Sunday has been released, race spokesman David Albee said.

The girl reportedly was in critical condition Sunday at John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

Albee said Monday morning that the girl's father told him Sunday she has been released.

It was the 108th Dipsea race, which goes from Mill Valley to Stinson Beach.
